IMDB rating: 5.80 Plot: Nick Parker was a Vietnam vet who got blinded during the war. He would be found by one of the local tribes. They would teach how to handle a sword. He would eventually become quite good with it. He would then return to the States and would visit an old Army buddy. When he gets there, he discovers that he and his wife are divorced. What they don’t know is that he (his friend) was playing in a crooked casino in Vegas, and accumulated a large debt. The owner’s willing to forget his debt, if he does something for him. His friend is a chemist and they want him to make some designer drugs, and in order to make sure he does it they try and kidnap his son. But lucky Nick is there, Nick saves his son but not his wife. He and the boy begin a road trip for Vegas to save his father, with the owner’s people in pursuit. |

Poem: The soul sometimes feels a near ghoulish demise, I chose to write about my own experience. Thoughts?
[Title] A Ghoulish Demise
Watch the chains twisting
Dragging me onward
Eyes keep resisting
To look back or forward
Hands cold in blood stains
Feet crushed and broken
Oh, these cruel chest pains
Throb like a token
Out of kind hate
Thrashing and wailing
Heart in a still state
Exploding and failing
And I just…scream and yell and flail my head around in circles
Smashing bones and giving up on constant struggles I can’t seem to win at all
Shredding flesh and skin like meat from hogs and cattle
Blazing fires beneath me burn, tormenting every time my spirit takes a fall
How did I get here, You’ll undertstand me
Steel blade’s a raw tool
Make your incision
Who is the blind fool
In my position
Speared in the ribcage
Squealing soft organs
Music of calm rage
Delight of pagans
Every direction
There’s no escaping
Demons defile, shun
It’s me they’re raping
And I just…thrust a kick and throw a punch upon their grotesque faces
Deafening my scarred and mangled ears to shrieks of pleasure in my fear
One more stagger to unleash my fury, slay each one
Before they shoot me down and steal away my soul for good and leave me here
How did I get here, You’ll understand me
Yesterday’s distant
This night’s much closer
Shades are persistent
Midnight’s composer
Conducts the music
Grumbled and mellow
Notes weak and basic
Mocking my sorrow
Do I give in, Lord
Where’s my tomorrow
My breathing’s one chord
Raspy and shallow
And I just…crack and go insanely mad with pure frustration
I know You can hear me pleading to have mercy but no light does shine at all
Begging like a guilty child and sobbing loudly
Tears hysterically pour out on the soot and ash, my knees do harshly fall
Now, I’m just dying, too weak and sickly
How did I get here, qucik and discreetly
How do I leave here, will You just carry me away…from here
