Blind Fury (1989)

Plot: Nick Parker was a Vietnam vet who got blinded during the war. He would be found by one of the local tribes. They would teach how to handle a sword. He would eventually become quite good with it. He would then return to the States and would visit an old Army buddy. When he gets there, he discovers that he and his wife are divorced. What they don’t know is that he (his friend) was playing in a crooked casino in Vegas, and accumulated a large debt. The owner’s willing to forget his debt, if he does something for him. His friend is a chemist and they want him to make some designer drugs, and in order to make sure he does it they try and kidnap his son. But lucky Nick is there, Nick saves his son but not his wife. He and the boy begin a road trip for Vegas to save his father, with the owner’s people in pursuit.

What Colleges do you think i can get into realilistically? What Colleges should i apply to?
I go to John Burroughs School. A very well known high school to all heads of college admissions. Its on of the best liberal arts high schools in the U.S.A.
I have a full academic scholarship to my school. I don?t even have to pay for my books.
I played basketball and baseball until tenth grade when i got injured during baseball season. Since then i?ve only played golf.
I have a 3.85 GPA unweighted.
I have a 4.21 Weighted.
I Get A?s in all of my classes except in history. I get B?s and B Pluses
I?m a little bit behind schedule because i came to my school in 9th grade and it starts in 7th grade and i had to take the lower track classes to begin with because my previous public school hadn?t prepared me for the rigor of my new school.
So i?m a senior this year. And i?m going to be taking PreCalculus which is the regular course instead of Calculus, the advanced track.
I?m going to be taking Spanish 4 honors instead of Spanish 5 AP.
I am however taking English 4 AP and Biology AP which are the advanced track.
I also plan to start taking french this year. I?m especially interested in learning multiple languages.
I got a National Honors Mention for my PSAT score– 211.
I also have received two Gold Standard Awards in the NSE (NATIONAL SPANISH EXAM) for scoring within the top 5 percent of the country.
SAT is 2190.

I?m also Co-Creator and Co-President of the Comedy Club at my school. My Club makes funny videos and skits to present in assembly. Last year we raised over 3,000 dollars with tshirt sales and donated all the proceeds to a needy charity.
Every Spring break i have gone on a school trip.
9th Grade year i went to southern missouri and completed 50 hours of community service for needy mothers.
10th Grade year i went to Panama (the country) to improve my spanish with about 20 other kids from my school. I also did community service down there.
11th Grade year i returned to panama and even further improved my spanish.
10th grade summer i worked full time.
This summer i worked full time selling extended service contracts for automobiles over the phone. I Sold these in spanish. Which i think should look really good for college. I?m ninety percent fluent in spanish. All of which i learned through school and school trips.
I really need financial aid. My family is in no position to pay for me to go to any of the colleges i list, if i don?t receive any financial aid.
So that?s an important thing. If i got into the right school then i could take out college loans obviously, but i?d like to stay away from borrowing huge sums.
One other thing is that i plan to retake the SAT in order to try to raise my critical reading score. because its far below my other scores.

Obviously I?m not going to apply to 19 colleges. I wanted some other people?s (hopefully knowledgable peoples) opinions on not only which colleges i have a good chance of getting into but also from which ones i have a good chance of getting financial aid.
Another thing is that i really like partying. I love partying.
To help you guys out, i?d rather go to a larger public school. But i know that out of state colleges are somtimes hesitant to offer financial aid to out of staters. That?s why i?ve also included smaller private schools in my list.
Obviously i have a lot of colleges and no idea which ones to choose. Any info would help. Any at all. Also if you can think of any other colleges i should apply to that are NOT on this list that are similar and you think would be a good fit for me, let me know. Also if there is anything else i could be doing in order to increase my chances of being accepted into a college or getting financial aid, please let me know. Thanks.
As far as majoring i?m really not sure. I?m only 17 years old. Thinking along the lines of business or maybe some kind of doctor. But i?m not looking for a graduate school. Just a good solid 4 year college that?s affordable for me.
You seem to be really well rounded. I attend the University of Florida and the average SAT score for applying freshman is in the 1300’s, probably closer to 1400 at this point. If the rest of the schools are anything like UF, it will just depend. You have done all the work you could to get in, so don’t stress. The spanish will help you A TON so you are good for doing that.
You are bound to get in to some of them, and honestly I would recommend applying to as many you can afford because they are getting weirder and weirder with admissions. Some people who are truly qualified get denied and the opposite happens too.
You would most likely get into Florida, especially since you are out of state (at least, I have never heard of your school so I assume that you are from out of state). Best of luck!

Well, I just got back from RAW in Hershey. What a perfect birthday present this was to myself! Despite what others may have thought of the crowd/show, I had the time of my life. Sitting front row by the entrance ramp (Seat Number 6) was so awesome, I can’t describe. I spent about 90% of my time standing at the railing, which was right in front of me, getting a full view (and earshot) of everything. The security guys were really nice, and actually moved their chairs several times to make room for the front row "sitters" to become "standers". I saw myself on LIVE TV on the Titantron several times, and other people told me that I was on TV even more times than I realized. I was standing next to a young boy (maybe 8 years old) on my left side. I was directly behind the steps where the Undertaker turns on the lights (when he’s there, of course). I was wearing my CM Punk shirt. Does anybody remember seeing me?
Regal/Yoshi was the dark match at 7:30, with Yoshi winning. Then there was the Superstars opening, followed by one match (Miz vs. ??? - I can’t remember). Then the RAW opening, and we were LIVE on the air!
The surrounding audience members were really good about allowing each other to boo/cheer whoever they wanted. People on both sides of me (including the kid) usually booed/cheered the opposite wrestlers that I did, but it was all in good fun, and we talked to each other too (having a great time).
I slapped hands with Lawler when he came out before RAW. I touched Kofi on the right shoulder/arm during his first entrance. This should have been on TV. Finlay was thrown right in front of my feet by Sheamus. I was told that I didn’t appear on camera, but I bet my sneakers did. The security guys moved their chairs and told us to sit down about 5 minutes before the spot because they knew it was going to happen.
Orton was very close to me several times throughout the night. I gave him the finger when I saw that he was making eye contact with me, but he didn’t acknowledge it. Something tells me that he is probably used to it.
When my hero CM Punk came out, I was immediately clapping my hands for him high above my head. When he stopped on the ramp to give grief to a couple of kids, he saw me clapping and giving him two thumbs up. There was a noticable CM Punk chant during his promo and his match from some guys behind me. But Cena was also very over, including with the kid next to me.
I kept cheering CM Punk during his promo, and I think I finally pissed him off, because he wanted to be booed. When he left the ring by the "Undertaker’s steps" I proceeded to scream at him "You Rule" and "You’re Number 1". As the cameras stopped rolling for commercial, he looked right into my eyes, looking very pissed off, and said "Shut Up" to me really loud. To me, that was an honor. I continued screaming "You Rule" and "You’re Number 1". I think Punk was pissed that I was doing this LIVE from the front row when he was supposed to be a heel on TV. Anyway, there is nothing that he can do to make me boo him. But I’ll never forget his "Shut Up" to me. I have never gotten a wrestler’s attention like that before. He said it almost as if Vince would be pissed at him for not being able to convert a fan from cheering to booing him. Oh, well. I love you, PUNK!!!!!! (Even though I guess I didn’t make your job any easier.)
Cena looked directly at me after his match when he exited the ring. I was giving him a big thumbs down for having defeated Punk. He just laughed at me. People on either side of me were strongly supporting Cena, but we just laughed together during the commercials. Very nice people.
I tried to get R-Truth’s attention later in the night by booing him and screaming "You Suck" but he never made eye contact.
I also cheered Batista. Many people did! We kept telling him that he was "the man" when he walked by the "Undertaker’s steps." I actually gave a thumbs down to Kane because I love Batista.
We knew when DX and Kane were coming out, because the ring crew set up the ring posts with their respective pyro. DX was insanely over!
Vince McMahon was just inches away from me when he left after commentating, but he doesn’t acknowledge the fans, other than with a smirk to himself. We were all cheering and bowing to him. I didn’t get to hear how he and Jesse came across on commentary, obviously. I’ll have to check out the tape later.
The crowd loved Jesse, even after his heel turn. When he passed by us upon leaving the ring, he was saying "I’m still a villian afterall." We just cheered him, and screamed "You’re the man."
After the cameras stopped rolling, Orton, Rhodes, and Dibiase came out to attack Cena on the broken table. Then DX came out to assist Cena. Rhodes and Dibiase abandoned Orton in the ring. Shawn, HHH, and Cena
I found that on wrestlingnewsworld.com and I found it to be great to read. punk telling him to shut up was hilarious.

Try searching online at http://www.dealnews.com They have most of the circulars from big chains across the country, most of which have stores in Miami. They basically take the hard work out of it so that you don’t have to look for and collate all that constantly updating merchandise.
